BHU (Undergraduate Entrance Test) UET 2017

BHU UET 2017: Undergraduate Entrance Test is conducted by Banaras Hindu University (BHU) every year in the month of April/May for aspirants seeking admission to numerous undergraduate programmes. BHU UET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification, candidates should have for appearing in BHU UET, is class 12th or its equivalent in the relevant field. Age criteria will differ according to the course choose by them. Before applying for this exam, candidates must ensure their eligibility in every possible aspect. Ineligible candidates are not allowed to apply for UET 2017.

Application Form

UET 2017 application form will be made available by the Banaras Hindi University in the month of January, 2017 and candidates will be permitted to apply for the same till March, 2017. Only eligible aspirants can apply for BHU UET 2017. Here are few basic steps candidates need to follow while applying for the test:

  • Enter the URL i.e. http://bhuonline.in/ in the address bar of any web browser.
  • Now access the link to apply for UET and register yourself with your basic information.
  • Put necessary details as required in the form and hit the submit button.
  • Thereafter, pay the requisite amount of fee and take printout of the application fee receipt.

Exam Pattern

Having information regarding exam pattern is a crucial part in terms of preparing for any entrance test. This gives you an overall idea regarding total number of questions, test duration, maximum allotted marks, marking scheme etc. There are some courses for which a common test is conducted whereas, for other courses separate test will be conducted.

Candidates will be awarded with 3 marks in case of correct answer, whereas one mark gets deducted for every incorrect response.

BHU UET 2017 Admit Card

Eligible candidates, who have submitted their applications before the specified deadline, may download their admit card from the official website. They can download their admit card by entering the Unique code they have been provided at the time submission of their online application.

Answer Key

Banaras Hindu University will release answer key of UET 2017 before it declares result of candidates. Candidates can put their concern in front of the university if they have regarding correctness of the same. They can get updated with answer key information as notified by the University from this section.

 BHU UET 2017 Result

Result of candidates who appeared in UET 2017 will be made available by the Banaras Hindu University after one month from conducting the exam. Candidates may check their result by following the official website of the authority.

Admission Procedure

Admission of a student in the programmes under UET is subject to fulfilling eligibility requirement, appearance in the exam and his/her qualifying status. Candidates won’t be eligible for admission if they fail to achieve the minimum qualifying marks in BHU UET 2017. The admission procedure will commence after the University declares the test result.
