Shivaji University Admission 2017: Applications will be invited by Shivaji University Kolhapur for admissions to the regular and distance mode programmes run by the University on the campus and in its various affiliated colleges. Candidates seeking admission any of the course offered by this university should apply as per prescribed schedule.

Application Form

Candidates can purchase the copy of information booklet for particular Course from University Office as per prescribed schedule by the payment of Rs.100/- in cash (Non Refundable) / in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur”, or from Publication Section, Shivaji University – Kolhapur.  The payment for entrance exam fee and other charges applicable can be paid by cash/Demand Draft in favour of “Finance and Accounts officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur” payable at Kolhapur. The applicants have to write their name, mobile number, subject of the Entrance Exam and online form no. at the backside of the Demand draft.

Applicants are required to fill the application form only online by visiting the official website of University i.e. “”. Candidates are advised to fill all mandatory fields very carefully. They have to pay Rs 200/ as necessary entrance examination fee (Non Refundable) for each subject. The candidate should submit hard copy of the application form along with DD or cash receipt of payment by courier or by post or submit in person to the concerned department only.

Applicants are allowed to apply for more than one course. However they will have to fill up separate application forms for entrance examination.

Examination Pattern

The examination paper will consist of 100 multiple choice questions (M.C.Qs) for 100 marks. Duration of entrance test will be one hour and 30 minutes.

Examination pattern for Yashwantrao Chavan School of Rural Development Courses (M.R.S., M.S.W., M.C.A., M.Tech, M.B.A)

The paper will contain 4 sections as listed below

Examination pattern for Distance Mode M.B.A

The Entrance exam will comprise of 100 objective questions on comprehension, aptitude, numerical & verbal ability, judgment and data interpretation etc.

Admission Process

Selection of candidates will be done on the merit basis of the merit in Entrance test, and the qualifying examination. However, for other University candidates, only merit of entrance test will be considered provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
